Educational licenses
The licenses are “educational” editions, the use of the application packages is strictly limited to the University’s institutional activities, thus excluding any use for personal, professional purposes and for profit.
Midas software
MIDAS software consists of a suite of programs geared to the needs of civil engineering.
How to get the software
Licenses, recipients, request and download methods
Teaching staff
- The software can be installed on personal PCs or PCs owned by the Politecnico
Request and download
- Request the license code using the online request form, specifying the software name and, if necessary, the course code and name, along with the total number of student activations
- Create a Midas account by entering the University institutional email address (eg. name.surname@polimi.it)
- Download the software: Product Download – MIDAS Support
- Follow the installation and activation instructions received by email
Students
- The software can be installed on personal PCs
Request and download
- Ask your teacher for the license code and instructions
- Create a Midas account by entering the University institutional email address (eg. name.surname@mail.polimi.it)
- Download the software: Product Download – MIDAS Support
PhD students
In the absence of specific indications, PhD students can use:
- software intended for students on personal PC
- software for teaching staff on departmental PC
This software is not available for technical and administrative staff.
