Res2DInv and Res3DInv
Res2DInv and Res3DInv are full-featured, flexible, and automatic software for analysis, rapid geophysical processing, and inversion of 2D and 3D Direct Current Electrical Resistivity Tomography (DC-ERT) and Induced Polarization (IP) data. The software offers a simple workflow, from data import to inversion and visualization, while still offering full control over inversion parameters, for advanced users, without providing a starting model.

Teaching staff
- The software can be installed on a PC on the University network and owned by the Politecnico
Request and download
Teachers who have requested Res2DInv – Res3DInv for a course can request installation instructions via the online form
Students
- The software can be installed on personal PCs
Request and download
Request and download: Activation is requested by the reference teacher through an online form
PhD students
In the absence of specific indications, PhD students can use:
- software intended for students on personal PCs
- software for teaching staff on departmental PCs
This software is not available for Technical and administrative staff
Educational licenses
The licenses are “educational” editions, the use of the application packages is strictly limited to the University’s institutional activities, thus excluding any use for personal, professional purposes and for profit.
