Turnitin
Turnitin is antiplagiarism software that compares the document text, subject to verification, with millions of indexed texts in its databases. It then releases a report highlighting the potentially copied parts and their sources. Turnitin has implemented the artificial intelligence detection feature to help educators identify the use of AI writing tools in student-delivered papers.
Turnitin has been adopted by the PhD School to mainly check the originality of the PhD thesis, and it may also be used to check the originality of papers written by PhD students during their careers.
