SolidWorks is a drawing and three-dimensional parametric design software, developed and merchandised from Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation. Solidworks was born as a mechanical engeneering software so it is particularly useful to design mechanical equipments.

Teaching staff
- Annual license
- The software can be installed on PCs on the University network and owned by the Politecnico
(see the student version for install on a personal PC).

Students
- Annual educational license
- The software can be installed on personal PCs

PhD students
In the absence of specific indications, PhD students can use:
- software intended for students on personal PCs
- software for teaching staff on departmental PCs
This software is not available for technical and administrative staff.
